This was a day I wished I had a girl !
Cutting off my son’s foreskin was not a joke
I am sure I experienced the pain more than he did….psychologically, at least
Although I did not cry, yet my heart was heavy
For the week he had the cap on his pee…I could not change his diaper
Yes, I could not even look at the spot
The look was scary and indescribable
I only prayed for quick recovery
You can’t imagine how I feel now looking back and writing this
Even though the circumcision is now over twelve months
I can vividly hear his cry from the inner room of the hospital
Yes, the inner room because I could not go inside with his grandma
All I did was to be alert at every call soothing him with his best meal (breast milk)
The cap only took a week to fall off
Then the cutie little pee was revealed
Hmmmmm…the joy of being a mother not only comes with smile
But with pain once in a while

It is not a joke cutting ‘DAT’ thing. The way the baby cry makes you to feel pain in your brain more than labour pain. It is advisable that u cut wen d baby is 3 to 8days because the pain will not be as much as wen u decide to cut it when the baby is 3months to years.
