ABC of Parenting

Parenting is as simple as A, B, C if we know how to cross our T’s and dot our I’s. Even the most difficult set of children (the teenagers) as we mostly refer to them often respect our opinion when we have sown the right seeds to them early in life. Ask me how I know this; it is because I was once a teenager.

No child is stubborn, they are just expressing their will power and as parents, our role is to help them to manage it.

No child is lazy, they are not just used to proper time management and as parents, we should be there to help them understand it.

No child is a dullard, of course they may not be good with numbers or letters, arithmetic or grammar, writing or presentation, practical or theory yet as parents, we should discover what they are good at and help them to develop it.

No child is weak, yes they may not have as much energy as their siblings, friends and class mates yet with our push (motivation) they can climb the highest mountain within a wink of an eye

No child is foolish, they are not just challenged enough mentally. As parents, try to create time to enhance their mental mind-set, then you will realise that  you have a genius.

No child is ignorant, our influence as parents is very important.

Our roles majorly as the title of this article is to relate with our children in mum4real’s A-Z format no matter how young or how old our children are.
