Face your lane: Part 2

…as I walked my girl to class with shaky legs that weren’t visible.

Lonimi, my 6 year old daughter was about to start year 1 in this new school. She had been the best all through her playgroup and nursery sessions in her previous school. Notwithstanding, I wanted her to experience new challenges and opportunities. So I championed the opinion of changing her school.

Her dad rejected initially because we could not comfortably afford the fees at the time, but I had my way thereafter…I played my cards right (please don’t ask me how…lol)

Then the journey started.

My smart girl wrote the entrance examination and dusted everyone.

She told me when she returned that she loved the ambience of the school.

Her dad had taken her to write the exams on a Saturday (Saturdays are for Dad and daughter bonding while Sundays are for family time)

Although I had heard a lot about the school from people at the salon, stores and on social media yet I have not been there physically, so I told her to keep praying for us and study hard

Now fast forward…
