Imagine I had a well fertilised okro seeds and I chose to plant it in my sitting room, right on my tiles. What would happened to the seeds? Or will it be okay for me to plant my “ugu” seed in a milk cup?

I am sure your answer is NO, because you are certain these environments aren’t meant for these seeds.

The same way in parenting, we have this wonderful child/ren, trained and well cultured and at tender age we put them in a kind of school that would boost our ego, we expose them in a kind of environment that isn’t meant for them and we are complaining that they weren’t growing as they are supposed to grow.

How?!

You can’t just plant your seed anywhere; you have to plant it in soil that is designed to receive and nourish the seed that is being planted.

Your prayer won’t change the narrative of the seed growth neither would your confession quickens the result. Your action matters and you have to be intentional as parent about the kind of environment you are putting your child to grow.
