Do you remember the parable of the talents? The last servant that hid his gift to be precise.
At the end of the day, the Master regretted involving him in the assignment. He wished He had given more to the first servant.
Sometimes, I wonder why this servant was punished. At least, he didn’t throw the gift away. To him he did the right thing, ‘he protect his seed’ and returned it to the Master the same way he got it. Has this same thought ran through your mind too?
The truth is, we are made in the image of God therefore the DNA of being creative is in us. As parents, we are to partner with God so that the purpose of God for our children can be fulfilled. And in this partnership, we must be ready to work and get our hands dirty.
Have you watched Bishop T.D Jakes last video, the one he passed the baton to Pastor Sarah Jakes Robert? All I was saying to myself while watching is that parenting is not ‘Rice and Plaintain’. We have to be Intentionally involved in the Evolution of our children.
God is counting on you dear Daddies and Mummies. Remember these children are His LOVE GIFT TO US.
Please don’t send them back to Him in their raw form.
