Olayinka’s teacher is always calling him a naughty, stubborn and stupid boy. Logically, she is right because when you call the noise makers, Olayinka is always the number one. Among the ‘rough players’, he is the head of the gang.
Naughty corner, naughty room, several punishments haven’t changed him. His teacher is always sharing stories of his escapades to whoever picks him (either his dad or mum). He has been painted ‘the black sheep’
Children are gifts from God. They are to be cherished and nurtured. You don’t need to complicate the situation with your use of words because you don’t seem to understand them.
When anyone calls them those ‘forbidden’ names, correct them immediately and politely. Don’t be too friendly and then ruin destinies. Be intentional about the words that are spoken into your children’s lives either by you or someone else.
