Finally I knew that I had been distracted.
Many a time, we get carried away by the achievements of our friends, colleagues and even family members. This distraction makes us forget who we are and then focuses on becoming someone else.
This distraction magnifies our weaknesses and suppresses our strengths…
This distraction screams out our failures and whispers our successes…
This distraction makes the grass look greener on the other side so that we unconsciously stop watering ours…
Whatever it is, please, FACE YOUR LANE because as parents, lives are at stake.
You are your child’s first role model, and to retain that you will need to FACE YOUR LANE.
You are your child’s teacher, and to teach right you will need to FACE YOUR LANE.
You are your child’s leader, and to lead well, you will need to FACE YOUR LANE.
You are your child’s parent and to finish well, you will need to FACE YOUR LANE.”
I told myself right there that I am the only one on this journey (my journey) therefore I have to face my lane to avoid accidents – emotionally, mentally, financially, morally…and even spiritually.

I need to face my lane to focus on my assignment. That’s a big lesson for parents. Thank you
God help us not to be distracted in our journey.
