Do you know that the real secret to generational wealth is intentional parenting with God?

How do I know?
The Bible says in Proverbs 13:22 that “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”
Now, we understand that no one is truly good outside of God. So if a man will leave inheritance that outlives him, God must be involved in the making of that man.
Then Scripture gives us the formula in Genesis 18:19:
“For I know Abraham, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord…”
God did not say, “I know Abraham is wealthy.”
He said, “I know Abraham will lead his children.”
That means heaven’s qualification for generational continuity is intentional parenting.
And as we say in Yoruba,
“Omo ta ko, l’ó ma gbe ile ta ko ta.”
The child we train is the one who will preserve what we build.
Now let us calculate this (since we are using mathematical terms 😃):
Good man + God’s involvement
God’s involvement + intentional child training
Intentional child training + obedience to God
= generational inheritance.
Therefore, the foundation of generational wealth is not money.
It is Intentional Kingdom Parenting.

So involve God in your parenting strategy.
Not occasionally. Intentionally.
Because wealth that is not preserved by trained children will not survive one generation.
And God says, “For I know him…”
