Day 2 Challenge: What are you saying?

I am fond of saying, ‘ I will give you a dirty slap’ anytime I am angry with my son. Mind you, it is only my way of cautioning him o, not that I have the intention to do so. However, I was cautioned by my husband to stop using such a word. What is wrong with the word ‘dirty slap’? At least I haven’t even administered the slap.🤔

Hmmmm…I now understand that everything is wrong because my choice of words is not right.

Words are seeds that grow into giant trees or even a forest
Words uttered today have their effects stretching from generation to generation
Words are believed in either consciously or otherwise
Words never fade easily even when we have forgotten what was said

The best way to be intentional about training these little ones is to erase the dirty words in our dictionaries and replace them with the ONLY RIGHT WORD, the scripture

When you are angry and you want to command them to do something, declare Is. 60: 1-3 first into their lives – Arise and Shine
