Day 1 Challenge: What are you saying?

…Kate, my neighbour’s 9 year old daughter banged the door in annoyance. I could feel the vibration in my skull. Thereafter, I heard her mum shouting in vernacular as she opened and baaaaaaaaaanged the door as well. ‘Bad child, Idiot, you want to kill me right, then have me and eat me for dinner, nonsense child, I didn’t even know how and where I got you…’

Appatently, she was saying all these as they both moved from one end of their flat to the other. I guessed that the child was not ready to listen and she was not ready to give up. This was not the first episode, it has been consistently getting bad every other time.

Every word we say into the lives of our children is waiting for the d-day to manifest
Every declaration becomes a manifestation
Every utterance benefits or banishes the child’s destiny

As a mother or father, your children will provoke you (this is constant) or didn’t you provoke your parents? Okay let us believe you didn’t, you were the best child ever๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„…okay don’t you disobey God at least once in a while?

Our words are deposits that our children fetch from in the nearest future
Our words are investments that the dividends are reaped from without applying for
Our words are catalysts that speed up our children’s ‘defined destiny by us’
Our words are the future we anticipate in the lives of our children

What are you saying to that child?
In love or in anger?
With joy or in pain?
In your mind or with your voice?

Please if you have nothing to say especially when you are not happy with that child, please keep quiet or better still confess Ps. 23 into the life of that child to disengage your mind from negative utterances.

This is our Day 1 challenge, SPEAK LIFE
