Let’s fast forward a bit into the future. Staring at the podium to admire your child received the award of the BEST in his/her endeavour filled your heart with joy and laughter. You were grateful to God for the blessings attached to parenting and the opportunity to nurture His gift. However you wondered how this was achieved and then you smiled.

Your influence and impact on the child.
Your communication and openess to your children.
Your choices.
Your words.
Your determination.
Your discipline.
You……….determine the future of the child – to a large extent.
Yes I understand that everything is in God’s hands and He knows the end from the beginning.
I have not also forgotten that your child has a part to play.
However as a parent, I want to remind your that one of your parenting assignments is to sharpen the arrows in your quiver and sharpening isn’t an instant job.
