During the @graceladiesinternational fellowship this morning, Mama @megbopeayo said something I would love to share with the world here. There are so many nuggets on parenting, but I love this particular one.
You may be wondering if fellowship today was about parenting 🤔 😅…logically, it wasn’t. However, because I see parenting in everything…in books that aren’t titled parenting, in movies that weren’t scripted for parents and in all, so I heard this clearly.
Mama said, and I quote: ‘If there is nothing you are looking at, then you will be distracted by what the devil wants you to see.’
As parents, we should INTENTIONALLY look up to God for parenting strategies, see our children through the eyes of God, and ensure our children see God in all they do. Else…we will be distracted.
Remember, the devil’s mission is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. This mission is accomplished through distractions.
Be intentional!
