What are you grateful for?

I was a bit reluctant when she asked me to help her open her box of snack.
I did reluctantly because she didn’t ask me properly.

She didn’t notice my facial expression neither did she notice my body language, she took it from me hurriedly and walked away.

I ran after her, took the snack and went back to my seat.

She was surprised.

‘It’s snacks time”
“I want my snack”
“I am hungry”
“Others are eating”
“What have I done?”
Were all she asked simultaneously.

I replied by saying, “Oh…really!”

And she said, “Yes”

The painful thing is that she didn’t understand why I took it from her.
Saying “Please” or “Thank you” didn’t seem to be part of her culture.
She had a sense of entitlement and I took my time to do some orientation.

At the end of my lecture, she smiled, apologies and said a big thank you.

How often do we say thank you to God for everything?

He is rolling his eyes just like every paren and waiting for our gratitude.

Let’s all embark on a #30daygratitudechallenge.

Are you ready?
