One of the things we do as intentional parents is to intentionally guide our children to be the best.
We are always ready to correct
Always present to spoon-feed
At the available call to provide solutions
Can we LEAVE them alone?
Can we leave and watch them fall so they can learn how to walk upright?
Can we leave them and allow them to fail so they can learn how best to succeed?
Can we leave them to make them start what we think will not last and allow them to figure it out on their own?
Can we leave them to unfold and blossom without us trimming and re-trimming?
Children learn from their mistakes and not only from our advice. However, they will not learn if you constantly control the outcome.
Letting go is not a weakness
Letting go doesn’t mean you give up
Letting go is not a trait of nonchalant parents
Sometimes, we need to leave to lead.
Do I have a witness?
True and profound!
