PDan challenged us parents yesterday, I wished I had the videos of the old songs he sang. How our parents raised us, believing solely in God. How they were committed. How they intentionally nurtured us even though they weren’t conscious of what they doing.
He said that they gave us morning devotion, which was one of the foundations of our faith (whether we accept it or not). Now the challenge, “What are you going to give our children? Online Prayer meetings or what?
Dear Kingdom Parents, let’s be intentional about passing on the undiluted FAITH baton to our children.
Don’t water down Christianity.
Don’t simplify God. (I know He is not hard but not as simply as we relate with Him sometimes).
Don’t amplify grace and eradicate the sacrifices of being a child of God.
I know Jesus paid it all. Nevertheless, we have our part to play as children of God.
Be intentional about the role God has committed into your hands.
Pass on the right baton.
May God help is to finish strong in Jesus Name.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.
7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.
9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
