Book review: The Warrior we call Mom by Deven Wallance

As I read some books on parenting, I will be sharing some of my personal take home here. Probably once a month or quarterly as I lay my hands on these book.

This month, we are reviewing “Book review: The Warrior we call Mom by Deven Wallance”

Here are 7 Lessons I learnt in my own words. I have more but would only share these ones.

1. The Kingdom assignment starts in the home. If you can teach your little ones about God, then the world will find God in them.

2. The devil is distracting parents with church activities, work, financial pressure and so on so that he can develop and run his own agenda. Wake up dear Parents and be alert ⚠️

3. Our children are to be sharpened so they can shape the future, if you leave them blunt they can get burnt.

4. If you encounter any parenting challenges, be aware that there is a learning curve in every contour.

5. Children are potential threat to the Kingdom of darkness.  This is why the devil will do anything and everything to eradicate them.

6. Set the right track 👣 for your children so that your grandchildren/generation can walk in righteousness.

7. The standard of God that we are to use to raise Kingdom Pacesetters is different from the statement of men. When you follow what people are saying about your seeds and parenting style, then you will miss out of God’s strategy.

In summary, be intentional about involving God in your parenting assignment.
