Parents, Please Read Before you MIGRATE!

As I was helping my son with his home work, we got to a topic in his Heritage Study called Migration –  that is, movement of people from one place to another. In recent times, the most popular word now is ‘relocation’ and the street translation in my home country is ‘JAPAA’

If the world isn’t important to God anymore then the birth of every child will no longer be necessary. <span;>Inasmuch as there is a birth, then there is something God can see that we can not. <span;>The best thing to do in seasons like this is to partner with God to make that birth count.

Don’t run away with your ‘Moses’ because you are looking for a comfortable environment for him/her. <span;>God has a plan of making Pharaoh’s daughter to nurture him or tutor her for the place of his/her assignment right in the middle of national crises, pain and disappointment.

Unless you hear ‘run’ like Jesus’ parents heard, don’t leave your country! Remember, Mary and Joseph were told by the Angel to hide Jesus for some time from King Herod. If they had stayed and said ‘Ile baba omo kin ba omo leru’ (i.e. a child is not scared in his father’s house) then they would have eradicated the plan of God in their family and not the world at large because it is impossible for God to be stranded. He told Elijah that there were 7,000 prophets that hadn’t bowed to Baal when he was thinking that he was a super star. God has so many ways of fulfilling His agenda.

The most important thing as parents is to be connected to God and not use our own interest to mislead the little ones that God put in care of us. Pr<span;>ay before you move out or you migrate and be sure that your steps are ordered by God.

Mt. 18:6 NIV

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
